COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What happens when a 500 year old Belgian style ale gets rear-ended by a truckload of pompous American hops? It equals one heck of an ambulance chaser of a beer. This is an American style Belgian IPA, with a subtle phenolic flavor in combination with citrusy/piney hops, well balanced at 6.2% and 55 IBUs, with a tart, dry finish. Grains: 2-Row, Wheat, Flaked Oats Hops: Bravo, Ahtanum, Centennial, Cascade Dry Hop: Ahtanum, Centennial, Simcoe Yeast: Strong Belgian Ale ABV: 6.2% IBUs: 55

Poured from a bottle indicating 11/27/14 best by date, so I’m taking this into account. Pours a slightly hazy, pale golden with a thick, foamy head that just wont quit! Floral hops dominate the aroma & smells a lot hoppier than it really is. Very soft, enjoyable bitterness & body that mimics their other IPAs. Excellent brewery and excellent beer, even 4 months past its prime.

Norm’s beer and wine, Vienna, Virginia bottle: Pours light copper with a white head. Aroma is fruit, hint of spice, good amount of sugar. Taste is sweet and spicy. Some light bitterness. Very light for an IPA; the witbier is still certainly there.

Great white IPA. Thick and creamy head with a golden color. Strong hop smell but a tart, lemon taste. Would definitely have another!

Tasted from bottle. Pours a pale yellow with white head. Aroma is floral and citrus hops. A hint of Belgian spices. Taste has more of the Belgian spiciness with some. Some citrus flavors with a nice caramel malt backbone. Pretty tasty. Overall a great Ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium amber, good frothy white head, mottled wall of lace. Taste is light malt that is immediately overtaken by medium pine hops. The hops take it to the finish, leaving the malt far behind. Not balanced enough to be a winner, but, otherwise, good.

I don't get the Belgian yeast but the hopping is spot on. One of my favorite beers from Sweetwater. On tap International cafe North Myrtle Beach.

From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of juice oranges. Crisp to finish.

Aroma is citrus, somewhat ESB-like fruit and light pine. The flavor is fruit, wheat, malts, citrus, very slight sweetness and a mix of bitter and citrus peel in the finish.
