COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What happens when a 500 year old Belgian style ale gets rear-ended by a truckload of pompous American hops? It equals one heck of an ambulance chaser of a beer. This is an American style Belgian IPA, with a subtle phenolic flavor in combination with citrusy/piney hops, well balanced at 6.2% and 55 IBUs, with a tart, dry finish. Grains: 2-Row, Wheat, Flaked Oats Hops: Bravo, Ahtanum, Centennial, Cascade Dry Hop: Ahtanum, Centennial, Simcoe Yeast: Strong Belgian Ale ABV: 6.2% IBUs: 55

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2014 Pours a good looking yellow with a small but tight orangeish white head. Aroma is citrusy and floral with a spicy yeast aroma shining through with some black pepper, almost rye-like. Flavor follws aroma with a rye-like spice and more of a biscuit/sweet roll type malt profile. The hops add an excellent mixture of floral citrus that blends well with the malt flavor. Somewhere between thin and Medium body. Sparkling co2. Great beer... just odd.

12oz bottle in Seattle, brought by my brother. Brighter gold, creamy head. Sweet, mild spiced. Mild IPA. Sweet, minor whole spice. Solid, less internees white IPA but also not sickly.

Draft at sheffields. Pretty bitter beer. Orange with fluffy white head. Nice pepper and grapefruit taste. No sign of "Belgium" or "white" in this for me - which I like.

Bottle. Quality IPA, some lacing, lingering bitterness on the tongue. Golden color, nice to see in the glass.

Poured out of bottle, nice golden brown color. Does not have the bite of an IPA but still very drinkable.

Bottle from Perfect Pour. Golden yellow body with nice head. Nose is hoppy, floral, fruity, sweet. Taste is lots of hops and citrus and sweet bursts. Really nice. Smooth, rich texture with warm finish.

Probably not an IPA in the ratebeer sense. More like a medium APA. Generally, rather light hearted. Mostly flat but certainly not mouth-coating like ubiquitous IPA. Can’t even be a white IPA. This is so funny all these beers that want the IPA moniker to sell beers. Call it what it is, Oily hops aroma and a medium IPA finish. Go get ’em beer preppies.

Pours golden cloudy with large white fluffy head. The aroma is pine citrus, fruity. Thr flavor starts with citrus up front followed by malt, tart apple, and pine residue. Overall nice on a warm day, balanced, think its a nice spin.

Can - pours a rich golden yellow with a thick parchment white head that laces well. Enjoyable aroma of ripe tropical fruit, apricot, citrus peel and a hint of pine cone. Similar favors but with a touch of blonde caramel malt. Light, crisp and quaffable.

355ml embossed bottle. Hazed golden orange pour. Aroma is tropical ruit and orange, hint of bubblegum. Flavor is a nice interplay between spice and tropical fruit, it is refreshing.
