Enige echte positieve is het zoetige, frisse, licht hoppige aroma wanneer net getapt. Smaak is wat vlakker en zoeter dan normale pils, slaat redelijk snel dood. Tap @ Blvd, Venlo.

Clear, dark golden colour. Flavour has pale malts. A fresh, clean taste with a touch of hop bitterness.

Friend gave me this one from Amsterdam. Medium yellow color with small head. It taste like regular pilsener but with impressive teste with little sweetness. Good mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.

Funky .33l clear bottle in Belgrade. Darker, richer orange body with slightly dead sweet honey grain aroma. Body has hints of depth and round sweetness but is quite dead in the end, some skunky cardboard. Not a terrible beer though, stronger flavor and not offensive.

Bottle. Skunked aroma of grassy, slightly lemony hops and sweet, pale malt. The latter dominates. Crisp and light taste, moderate carbonation, moderately flavourful, with a nice balance between the residual sugars and the moderately strong bitterness. Really nice beer.

Bottle at a mexican restaurant, happy to see something else than Corona and Salitos Tequila. Poured into its original glass. Nice golden yellow colour with two fingers of white thick head on top of it. Lots of activity in the glass. Looks promising. Aroma of hops, nothing to write back home too though. Taste is much beter, nice bitterness even from the begining with lots of hops. Thin to medium on the body, average carbonation. After it was brought to my table, I checked for the brewer here, and when I saw Bavaria, in combination with the clear glass bottle, I was afraid it would be another boring pils, but I was pleasantly surprised. Quite good.

Smell of malt and some herbs. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma of malt, citrus and some hoppiness. Aftertaste is sugary and slightly fruity. Lively carbonation.

0.33l bottle from Koznum supermarket, Livno, BiH. It poured clear golden body with small head. Herbal hop, grainy and toasty malt aroma, touched with a salty note. Fine moderately bitter flavor from apple and herbal hops, while biscuit malt brought in some sweetness. Medium bodied with long, nice herbal and citrus fruity hops (Cascade maybe and only at this point). Really good for a macro pils.

As Swinckels’ Superieur Pilsener. A surprise find at the big Konzum in Livno, Bosnia. Lovely, but unfortunately clear glass bottle.... no wonder reviews of this vary so much. It poured a golden body with a small white head. Grainy malty nose, slightly salty, maybe, just MAYBE a tiny touch of hops, that might just be some really dumbed down Cascades. The taste starts with appley notes and distinct notes of pine, there’s a nice sweet grainy maltiness but it ends in paper. Some ok bitterness. This is by all means an above-average macro pils, and as such a welcome addition on the market there I guess.
