COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Five different malts, select hop varities, and our own specially cultivated yeast create an ale which leads with hop flavors and a subtle impression of fruit (our yeasts contribution), followed by a palate pleasing malty finish.

Bottled version. Pours out a medium russet amber. Frothy off white head. Very earthy. Light malts. Thin body. Lingering sticky malt finish. I probably need to let this one warm up more.

Tap at the brewpub with commonshawn, rosskyle, samadouche. Half pint. Deep orange with hints of amber. Good lacing. Nose has malty/cereal qualities with some hop bitterness. Taste is very basic and approachable. You won’t find complexity here. Mild bitterness filling in the gaps between the dominant malty, grainy notes. Strange fruity finish that joins in with a mostly herbal tea bitterness. This feels like a beer I’ll forget soon after I’ve finished it.

Light malt and grassy aroma. Hazy dark orange body with on a thin bubbly head. Light malt, grainy grass taste, Mild sweetness. Has a hint of tartness. Finish is on the dry side. The only negative is that it seems kind of plain. It is drinkable light bodied.

22 oz bomber into a nonic glass. No born on date. Aroma - Nose is primarily floral hops with faint malt/ cooked corn. Slightly metallic as the beer warms. Appearance - Beige complexion. Thin band of white lacing coats the rim of the glass. Fluffy white head. Taste - Sweet bread, toasted malt followed by fruit (apricot) and balanced with lemony, but more prominently, earthy hops. Empty finish. Palate - Light bodied, lending to an unsatisfying overall experience. Within the style, 5% typically lends a more fuller, chewier body. This one leaves you hanging. Overall - Used to go nuts for this stuff in college. A good a gateway beer, as its just interesting enough to steer you away from the usual suspects.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a small quickly diminishing beige head that leaves little lacing. Faint aroma of hay. Lightly bitter, average carbo, light to medium body and a brief lightly bitter finish. Not as bad as I suspected it would be, or shall I say, better than expected.
