A unique-flavour dark beer brewed according to a special recipe. It is not a coincidence that the sales figures of the dark beer show one of the most dinamic developments.

500ml bottle from supermarket in Pecs, dark reddish brown colour, avereage offwhite mostly diminishing frothy head, fair bit of lacing. Moderately malty and lightly hoppy roasted aroma with plum, caramel, resin and pepper notes. Flavour is moderately sweet with a bit of bitterness, light bitterness and sourness in the finish. Medium to full body, oily texture, lively carbonation, moderately astringent feel. Above average dark lager, even good for a Hungarian beer. Could’ve been more hopped though. Better than a lot of Czech dunkels anyway.

500 ml bottle. Clear, dark red colour, beige colour short-life head, lively fizziness, coffee aroma, light watery body, too fizzy in the mouth, creamy sweet taste, sour roasted palate, no hoppy bitterness. Not the best.

Bottled, 0.50l. Clear deep brown color with small frothy brownish head that was gone quickly, soft visible carbonation and no lacing. Aroma of caramel, moderate roasted malt, liquorice and mild herbal hops. Taste starts fresh grainy, then followed by moderate roasted malt and smokey notes. Mouthfeel is average spicy, while finish is mild, not bitter at all. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Interesting dunkel, tottaly competitive to many Czech samples...

Draught at Korhely pub, Pecs. Dark brown color. Aroma is toasted malt and maybe just a hint of caramel. Taste is similar, mostly toasted malt with notes of caramel and chocolate. Overall, aroma and taste are not very rich and exposed. It’s drinkable, but nothing too special.

Bottle from Mam and Dad’s holiday, Hungary. This is a very dark brown-black beer with a malty and chocolate flavour with roasted hints and a sweet fruity finish.
