Can, 0.50l. Clear golden color with medium frothy white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma is grassy, vegetably, grainy with mild vanilla note. Taste starts with light sweet grainy malt, following is sour grassy and vegetably with chalky notes and light unpleasant bitterness at finish. Light to medium body, dry texture and lively carbonation in palate. Drinkable Hungarian lager...

Zarkam (336) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 2, 2013
500ml bottle from supermarket in Pécs, clear sparkling light yellow hue, with a small mostly diminishing frothy white head. Light malty aroma of bread and straw with a hint of lemony hops. Taste is initially moderately acidic and finish is short and lightly bitter with a metallic feel, light to medium body, dry texture lively carbonation. Not a particularly tasty or interesting lager, though the tap one was a bit better when I wasn’t rating it.

Can from Wisla, Leicester. Light, slightly citrus and apple pale lager. A bit of metallic fizz at the end. I quite like this one because it doesn’t taste like it’s been drunk before.

Can from Wisla, Leicester. Smells reasonable. Not much smell really. Not much taste either. Not even offensive...just absent. Sweet rainwater.

Light fruity pale lager, with a nice golden appearance, but nothing special. Average, but a good everyday beer.

pale yellow colour, great white head; aroma and taste of corn, corn, corn, some corn and...have I mentioned corn? like a can of liquid sweetcorn; though I like sweetcorn, now I wanted to taste a beer...well, to be honest, it has some minimal bitter aftertaste, too...not recommended at all.
