330ml bottle. A deep, opaque brown in colour with a fine though lasting fizzy light tan head on the pour. Surprise, surprise and so my disappointing run with this brewery continues. In a vein similar to my experience with the Szot Amber and Strong this is dominated by a tart acetic character. There’s nothing other than tart fruit on the nose and the roasty component you’d expect and hope for in a stout is barely discernible beneath the apply dryness on the palate. So frustrating particularly given the majority of positive reviews this one’s garnered. Light to medium body, medium carbonation and a touch of coffee on the back end but it’s otherwise controlled by a sour fruit tang.

33cl bottle from Arve_Christian - thanks a lot! Pours clear dark brown with a reddish hue and a small but lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruits and licorice with hints of coffee and wood. Medium sweet and roasty with some fruity and wooden notes and a quite balanced bitterness. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Well balanced and easy to drink. Nice stout, fits perfectly on a hot summer day like today.

Poured black, with light beige head, pretty looking beer. Slightly bitter aroma, oak, coffee, chocolate, malts. Strong flavors of chocolate and coffee, roasted wood and malts. Good beer, enjoyed.

Darkish brown. Very thick head - too much, really. The aroma has some tartness, which is unfortunate. Mostly chocolate, but again with a little tartness.

Bottle, 5%. Fruity aroma, a bit of roasted tar. Almost black colour, clear red shine. Small tan head. The flavour is nicely roasted, good coffee note, slightly acidic to balance. Good for ABV.

A decent stout, chocolate, roasted, coffee, medium carbonation. It is a good one in the Chilean market, not excellent, but s good one.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Storm. 5.8% in my version. Pours black with an orange hue and a creamy beige head. Sweetish hard roasted malt in the nose. Medium-bodied, soft mouthfeel, sweet hard roast malt, chocolate and vanilla. Some malt bitterness. Decent. 191111

Bottle. Pours an unclear and brown beer with a weak beige head. The aroma is malt, coffee, sweetness and notes of licorice. The flavor follows the nose with some additional roasted notes. The palate is sweetness. Overall a beer well below average.
