Drank with Rik and Lennart in Samson 28-11-2014. Not a beer that I will remember. Weak taste. Sour notes. Not really to my liking.

Bottle, shared by Aja. Pours in hazy dark body, ruby againts the light, low head. Aroma has yeasty profile with hints of caramel, light roasty, hints of coffee too. Taste has high coffee sweetness, evident alcohol, medium earthy bitterness. Body is full, high carbonation.

langeveld12 (272) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 21, 2014
This beer is a bit watery in the texture and there’s not a lot going on in the aroma’s and flavors. Acidic all the way, hardly no sweet or bitter. Sweet dried fruits and apple, orange and lemon. Average.

Average Dutch bock beer. Taste like a mix between a German and a Belgian bock. Caramalt and dark fruits and most of all sweet.

PotjeBier (1778) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 15, 2013
33 cl bottle thanks to Santa. 6%, Herfstbockbier, 2013 issue. Very dark color, almost opaque. Big beige rocky head with good retention and lacing. Aroma’s of sweet malts, red fruit, brown sugar. Additionally some roast retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, fruity (sweet & sour). Body is on the thin side, could have used a bit more. Flavor lingers, but no new flavors. OK example of the style. Good with rode kool & appel.

Bottled@Petalax as "Herfstbockbier" Dark red-ruby color, good brownish head. Caramel, some herbal notes, berries in the nose. Medium-bodied. Tartish flavor, red currant, some caramel. Past its prime unfortunately.
