Cloudy yellow pour, with an off white head. Sweet and fruity, fig, orange, sugary, light herbal hops, and cookie dough malt. A nice sweet desert beer, not bad for a tripel, which I normally donít appreciate much.

Pours deep gold into a tulip Fluffy white head recedes to hug rim. Green apple and pear aromas. Fruity and sharp with upfront candy apple becoming soft and hoppy in the finish.

Hazy yellow colour with yeast particles, nice white head. Smells herbs and spices (corriander?), yeast. Tastes fresh, malty, quite good. Great carbo, medium bodym

(Bottled) Very hazy orange with a beautiful, creamy and firm, lacy head, that lasts longer than the beer. Honey-malty, fruity, slightly moldy aroma with vanilla and some acidity. Pale-malty, slightly cardboardy flavor with orange-peel and medium acidity. Alcohol is well hidden without excess sugar. Medium-bodied with quite high, but smooth carbonation. Doesnít change much with yeast. Not the most complex of refreshing tripel, but gorgeous-looking, quite balanced and enjoyable still. Some of the acidity could be traded for fruitiness, though.

Swing top bottle purchased at Spirits Point Beach. Poured a deep orangey that was slightly hazy with smaller bubly white heads. Aroma is swet, sugary, green apples, dough, yeast and fruity. The flavor is drier then the aroma and just rather dry for a tripel, however there is a short lived midway burst of sweetness, along with dough, yeast and apple. Thin almost watery body with soft carbonation and a sweet aftertaste. Meh drinkable but not good for a great style.

Pours unclear yellowblonde . OK , but big bubbles white head that fades to zero in no time . Scent is sweeter than average , some yeast-notes . Taste is surprisingly bitter , but in a very sharp way . doesnít taste hoppy, really . grainy undertone, but with a more pronounced yeast profile in top of it . Has every aspect of a tripel , so thats a good thing . Only , its not balanced . The co-operation of the different aspects doesnít work out , making this not as nice to drink as the average tripel .

Bottle. Bright orangey beer with a strong but soon disappearing head. The aroma is lightly fruity and spiced, and the flavour is fruity and mildly yeasty with a sweetish lightly bitter and spiced finish. Overall a nice fruity and spiced beer.

Rated on 02-20-2010 (Flip-top bottle) This beer forms a small fizzy off-white head that mostly diminishes, hazy amber body, visible carbonation, and floaties. The Aroma is caramel malt, hops, sweet, some clove, fruity, and some alcohol. The Taste is sweet, lightly bitter, caramel malt, fruity, hoppy, and some alcohol. The Palate is very smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. Overall, this is one of my favorite beer styles, but it fell short in the flavor as the flavors just did not seem to come together very well. This beer is not one that I will seek out again.

This triple is a peach schnapp beer with tangerines, brandy, oranges and apricots. Shows great depths and as you expect from schnapps the finish is very sweet. Lucky for us, no alcohol.

Bottle bought and consumed at the Foreign Bar, Bedford BF ’08. Amber with a huge white head. Slightly salty fishy aroma with chalky spices. Sweet. leathery musty taste with lingering bitterness. Too fizzy. This isn’t going to be a favourite of mine. Eaten with a damn good bacon and brie baguette.
