75cl bottle at home, iRate: pours a nice cherry wood with a tall receeding off white head. Noticeable small floaties. Vanilla cherries, alcohol and malt. rich and full of life. Other layers of dark fruits come as you explore deeper. Light hints of chocoalte and cold-brewed coffee. As the beer warms the roast and chocolate comes more to the forefront with some spice and bread. The alcohol character is sweet and not full of high alcohols. Nice deep malts and dark fruit liquers fill your mouth upon tasting. Alcohol is much more present here than in the aroma. Spices are also more abundant and more bitter. Mixed winter spices folded into bread dough. Again there is some vanilla. Definte bitterness backing up the sweet alcohol. Herbal hop character almost turns medicinal. Finishes with raisins alcohol and a spicy bitterness. Pretty nice beer but I suspect this will be even better given some age.
