ZBF 08. Pours a deep black color with a thin light brown head. Good aroma of coacoa and roasted malt. Good flavor of coacoa and roasted malt with a bitter finish. This is not an exceptional sweet stout, but it has the merit of being brewed in Belgium and it’s well-done.

Dark, black coloured beer with almost no carbonation and a large chocolat brown head. Full heavy malty aroma, with touches of caramel and drop. Full palate. FInish is light sweet bitter, roasted malty with some smokey touches. Nice.

2008-03-01. Black body with a good sized khaki head. (3+) Sweetish roast malt aroma. Simple flavour, lightly bitter roast with a sweet malt base. Average plate is a bit thin for a stout. Mildly flavoured but quite quaffable.

Bottled. Aroma has roasted malts, blackcurant, some dried fruits. Clear, black/dark brown coloured with a lasting, beige head. Taste is sweet, bit sourish accent in it. Roasted malts, black currant, coffee. Medium bodied, relative dry. Good brew.

Black, amber head. Coffee aroma. Full bodied, burnt, and malty, and of course coffee. Refreshing for a stout.

Bottled. Clear dark brown color, short frothy brown head. Aroma of blackcurrant, roasted malt, some candy sugar. Quite sweet taste, roasted malt, some coffee, blackcurrant which gives it a slight sour hint. Decent stuff.
