| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 16, 2007 Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk. Pours a very deep mahogany, bordering on black. Fine, sticky and creamy beige head on top. Aroma is quite burnt with a slight tart fruitiness to it. Relatively low carbonation and not that thick. Flavour is very roasted and dry, with cocoa and slight liqourice. Is really a pleasant beer to drink depite it’s powerful roastiness.
