Aanvankelijke minder leuke neus maar wordt beter naarmate het bier openstaat, Amber mat van kleur. afdronk heeft iets zurig, zou dit niet onmiddellijk een "Ale" noemen. Maar smaak loopt dan vlak af, lijkt niets te volgen wat spijtig is.

Pours hazy amber with a weak head. Apple like vinous aroma with hints of sherry and leather. Flavour adds resinous notes and a moderate bitterness to balance the gentle sweet malt and fruitiness. There is a mild yeasty aftertaste along with the lingering bitterness.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of Brett-funk, hint of poo, apple skin tartness, wood, light fruity, yeast. Flavour is light sweet, dry, Brettanomyces, iron, wood, fruit, some caramel, tart-bitter finish, light spicy yeast. Light-bodied. Has some Orval-qualities.

Pours copper color with a small head. Aroma of caramel malts, ripe fruits and some yeast. Flavor is the same with toffee and mild spice notes. Nice.

Aroma is sourish with some earthy and floral notes. Also some citrus. Flavour is somewhat sour and slightly tart with earthy and leathery notes. Also some citrus and floral notes too. Good and refreshing, reminds me of Orval. This has even the same ABV.

Bottle, darker amber coloured with some light carbonation and a medium head. Slightly fruity and yeasty malty hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is somewhat fruity again with spicy undertones. Not bad.

Taste is apple, some barnyard funk. Nice

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes yeast, fruit, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes yeast, fruits, and malt, leading to a bitter and spicy finish.
