Together with chefs Onno Kokmeijer and Arjan Speelman of the Michelin-starred restaurant Ciel Bleu we created this highly tasty I.P.A. The dry-hop with Waimea and Citra hops gives the beer a floral, bitter character and the addition of kaffir lime provides a tropical touch. Completed by a deep golden color, the Ciel Bleu I.P.A. is an irresistable beer. Ciel Bleu I.P.A. is on the menu of restaurant Ciel Bleu and is limited available in our pub.

33 cl bottle @ home. Copper color, ever so slightly hazy. Big, very dense off white head with long retention and good lacing. Aromaís of piney/resinous hops, citrus, and typical IJ yeast. Retronasal the hop aromaís are harsher, bitter. Flavor is rather bitter, earthy, with a light acidity. Body is medium. Quite high carbonation. Long bitter finish

Great aroma, thatís for sure. Incredibly big head, foamy and sticky that stays for quite some time. The first part of the taste is nice and flowery, then it turns a little too bitter, grapefruit style. That remains just a little too long. Bottle from De Bierkoning.

Mildly sweet, but well balanced with fragrant, herbaceous hops. Fabulous head and rich mouthfeel. Looks gorgeous too. Lovely confluence of delicate, herby/sweet flavors, great palate, and fine touch of hops. I donít usually drink single IPAís, but when I do, I appreciate a classy little number like this one.

Bottle. Amber color. Citrus, apricot and bergamot in the floral, somewhat spicy aroma. Loads of citrus (lime!) in the floral, spicy, slightly perfumed flavor. Satisfyingly balanced, tasty and aromatic brew.

One of the best IPAís Iíve ever drank. The kafir lime gives a very fruity and bitter taste.
