COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Together with chefs Onno Kokmeijer and Arjan Speelman of the Michelin-starred restaurant Ciel Bleu we created this highly tasty I.P.A. The dry-hop with Waimea and Citra hops gives the beer a floral, bitter character and the addition of kaffir lime provides a tropical touch. Completed by a deep golden color, the Ciel Bleu I.P.A. is an irresistable beer. Ciel Bleu I.P.A. is on the menu of restaurant Ciel Bleu and is limited available in our pub.

Bottle at Cafe de la Gare. Hazy copper pour, huge rocky creamy white head. Aroma is floral, quite yeasty, fruity and with some unfermentable sugars. Flavor is sweet fruity malts and hops, nice body and well drinkable. Decent IPA.

Bottle @ WWT II. Hazy golden pour with a small white head. Aroma is very citrussy, full of lime and can definitely smell the citra. Flavor is quite bitter with a light malty backbone. Very decent IPA, nothing more, nothing less.

Bottle. Golden pour, white head. Aroma is very bitter and grassy, with yeast and pine. Taste of bitter herbs, lime, sharp grass and hops in the finish. First beer with waimea thatís not nasty. Not very interesting though.

Wow. Great looks, aroma and above all taste. Dark yellow, big lacing white foam head. Hoppy aroma with some floral notes. Bitter taste, some tropical fruit there. Long aftertaste. (Velp 201504)

On tap at craft & draft, Amsterdam. Sweet and zesty citrus and pineapple aroma, with pilsner malt and light celery. Slightly hazy bronze under a persistent white flannel blanket and lace. Sweet start with pilsner malt, quickly leading to zesty citrus and tropical hops and then a dry, woody bitterness and finish. Sort of Belgian fermentation, but without the peppery phenolics or esters. Medium light body, high carbonation, crisp.u
