Pour is murky brownish amber with a big bubbled off white head...smell is overwhelming at first with yeast and must, something astringent too...lots of citrus as well...not intensely pleasant, but still not aweful...taste is sweet at first, turning vegetable bitter and alcoholic...drain pour...

(bottle) Hazy and pale amber coloured effervescent hue with a giant foamy off-white head. Yeasty, fruity (orange) and moderately sweet doughy malt aroma with cloves. Candied sweet malty initial flavour and orange fruity and yeasty taste, medium to full bodied, lively carbonated mouthfeel; almost dry, fruity and slightly bitter hoppy coriander-spicy finish with a tart aftertaste. Complex and powerful brew, but slightly unbalanced. (Thanks bierkoning for this one !)

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized foamy head. Weak barnyardish caramellish aroma, which is a bit weird. Flavour is sweet malty with wheaty hints. Pleasant flavour.

This beer offers an aroma full of the fragrance of wheat with strong citrus undertones. A cloudy graham cracker color that pours a good thick head that quickly dissipates to thick glaze. This beer is very thick and heavy beer grabs the tongue and lifts it with the flavor of sweet wheat. The sweet wheat taste fades leaving a nice nutty citrus flavor lingering on the palate and in the throat.

Poured a murky amber orange, lots of floaties as seems to be typical of this brewer, good head that fades slowly to a thin, lasting layer. Aroma of tangerines and orange marmalade. Marmalade flavors up front, quite fruity, with a somewhat bitter, mineral finish. Alcohol a bit obvious. Sort of like a Belgian take on an IPA. The orange and tangerine flavors are quite upfront and dominate the profile, a refreshing change of pace. Good stuff.

16 June 2005 (Maastricht-Fallstaff) - Sweet sour earthy and steel aromas. Cloudy brown-red colour, good lacing, but low head. Sweet sour flavour that is reminiscent of a Orval with steely notes. Lingering steely flavour and thickish mouthfeel.

33 cl bottle. Gorgeous looking beer with huge fluffy head on top of a hazy amber body. Aroma is funky and fruity and dominated by apricot. The flavor is sweet, malty and caramelly with hints of apples and almonds. A long bitter finish aids this beer in not being cloying, but unfortunately it also make it stand out a bit disharmonious. Lively mouth feel. The relatively high alcohol is extremely well hidden.
