COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An amber, craft beer with generous amounts of hops and alcohol. This copper-gold beer is a real heavyweight and a must for beer lovers. The liberal quantities of malt and bitter hops create a complex, full flavour. It starts as slightly sweet with malty aromas of chocolate, fruit and grain, while the bitter hops stand out nicely in the aftertaste. A feast for the connoisseur!

This is best described as a Belgian strong ale with lots of hops, that give the beer a nice bitter taste. The yeasty and malty body gives the beer a good base.

On tap @ ’t IJ. Slighty hazy briht golden/copper with a small persistent off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is fruity and spicy (a tad too much) with malt/caramel, floral hops, chocolate notes and light vegetal presence. Taste is slightly sweet and moderately (but still too much) spicy along malt/caramel, vegetal notes and chocolate finish. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. This one is a tad too spicy and the balance isn’t perfect. The chocolate presence doesn’t fit in the beer profile and the vegetal notes are a little off. My least favorite from ’t IJ up to now.
