An amber, craft beer with generous amounts of hops and alcohol. This copper-gold beer is a real heavyweight and a must for beer lovers. The liberal quantities of malt and bitter hops create a complex, full flavour. It starts as slightly sweet with malty aromas of chocolate, fruit and grain, while the bitter hops stand out nicely in the aftertaste. A feast for the connoisseur!

Wow, thatís a positive surprise! I bought it and did not expect too much of it but it showed me Belgian does not neccesarily mean Trappist or Duvel or Kwak. Itís fresh and unique approach to brewing Belgian beer. Extremely fruity. refreshing and easy to drink. Although itís 9% drink itís so approachable you would drink at least 3 of these in a row. Nice amber appearance and slightly earthy aftertaste. Very complex but not too intimidating. Iím going to buy at least 5 of those for ageing.

Pours out of the bottle in a light unclear amber colour with steady low head and medium to smooth body. Aroma of Belgian yeast and malt. Taste of Belgian yeast, bread, roses, barley, mild hops and straw. Very nice to drink, yet a little bit too simple and boring.

Clear amber body with a white head. Good retention. Aroma is fruity liqueur. Peaches, orange and caramel.

Bought because I liked the ostrich on the label. Pours dark hazy orange, a thin film of head. Malty caramelly aroma, undertones of alcohol. Medium mouthfeel, rich taste like burnt sugars, more caramel, lingers. Overall impression: a very sweet beer (almost overpoweringly so), quite striking, not sure how often would drink again.

Poured from the bottle. Light brown brew with a small head. Doesnít taste particularly strong for its high alcohol percentage. Taste of grape, Brown sugar and a little of speculaas. Nice drink, not blown away by it though.
