UPDATED: MAR 12, 2011 Hazy golden body, good white head. Foamy mouth texture, lots of hops, citrus, umani. Very Nice! (Bottle 33cl) Re-rate: Milk, winegum, hops. Foamy mouthfeel, light sourness. A little disappointing this time.

Good head. Murky brown color. Sweet flower smell. Malts is first taste, which is followed by flowers and banana, for second. At the end taste turned into something I could not identify, but it was interesting.

Thanks to Brian from bringing this from the Netherlands. Rather carbonated, tart but still drinkable. Serving: Bottle

Draught at the brewery. Light amber-orange color. Big columbus hop aroma and flavor. Very malty, lots of cereals, peaches, honey, citrus-orange. Sweet, with lots of alcohol and spice. Interesting, though maybe a bit too much.

Bottled, 330ml at Cambrius Pub, Rotterdam. Amber with white head. A little tart and fruity giving a slightly odd note which then develops some sweetness. Thinner than expected though still perfectly drinkable.

Lightly hazy amber, huge fluffy white head. Nose is bratty cherry pie, some nutty malt, a bit of fruity appley character. Flavor is some Brett, strongly nutty malt- a bit of peanut skin character. Bitter finish. Meh.

In short: A sweet yeasty and hoppy Belgian golden ale. Good beer.
How: Bottle at De Spuyt, Amsterdam
The look: Cloudy dark golden-orange body topped by a large off-white head
In long: Nose of leafy and spicy hops. Body is fluffy and lively. Taste has chewy cereals, caramel, cotton candy, dry leafs, lots of yeast, herbal notes, dried fruits, moderate sweetness level. Medium bitterness. A bit resinous. Residual sugars in the after-taste. Alcohol very well hidden. The name mislead me. When I ordered the beer I thought I was getting a single-hop IIPA. Obviously not the case here but I really enjoyed the beer for what it is. The name just threw me off at first. Like when I rented that movie Not Without My Daughter. A good movei but I should have suspected that the movie I was hoping for could not legally be sold in North-America.
