COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An amber, craft beer with generous amounts of hops and alcohol. This copper-gold beer is a real heavyweight and a must for beer lovers. The liberal quantities of malt and bitter hops create a complex, full flavour. It starts as slightly sweet with malty aromas of chocolate, fruit and grain, while the bitter hops stand out nicely in the aftertaste. A feast for the connoisseur!

Dark orange with foamy head (it spilled out right as I opened the bottle). Aroma of yeast, clove and honey. Spicy and with a persistent taste.

Pours a orange beer with a little head. The aroma was unknown for me. A bit cheesy. The taste is nice. A bit odd. Special one.

Bottle, 33 cl, bought in Amsterdam March 2010. Hazy orange amber with lots of sediments floating around and a colossal foamy white head. Yeasty, orange-scented aroma, some sulphur, quite hoppy. Sweet malty flavor with the same very marked components as the nose suggests. Hoppy, bitter finish. Not bad, and despite the ageing very fresh and drinkable.

Strong beer, boozy and a little bit more bitter than expected. Opaque amber color, with a minimum beige head. The aroma is natural, yeasty and spicy, while the taste is prone to nuts, biscuit and malts, like straw, also present in nose. Not among the best IJ beers.

Bottled. Orange colour with a high initial carbonation of a light beige head with good duration. Aroma is caramelish, malty, yeasty. Flavor is caramel, bready with notes of caramel; in spite that this beer is Dutch has notes of Belgian yeast. Sweet and alcoholic final.

Tried on tap in the brewery. It has a bready, cakey, yeasty & sour smell. Taste is also very cakey and sour. It is unique, it has some Belgian influence but is nothing like I’ve tasted before. It has a medium - heavy body and a smooth mouthfeel. It is quite nice overall, worth trying.

Troebel koperkleurig met witte kop. Geur is fruitig (citroen, grapefruit) en iets zoet. Smaak is vrij zoet, fruitig met bittere afdronk. Iets te zoet naar mijn mening. Aldus Huubs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
