The aroma is very fruit sweet. The color is red-brown and it has a beutiful but disappearing head. The flavor is of lingonberries, fruit, and dry wood. It ends on a slight bitterness. It has an OK palate.

(Bottle 33 cl) There ought to be hop-alert printed somewhere on this beer, this truly is a bitter beer. Dutch beers this strong are usually malty and sweet, and even though this certainly contains some malty sweetness the hops overpower everything. A spicy, aromatic bitterness - but bitter indeed. Very bitter. Dark amber with a gigantic, beige shaving foam-like head. A truly unusual beer. 210304

Bottled. Orange coloured, cloudy. Very flowery aroma. Medium bodied and very sweet. All other flavours are hidden behind the wall of sugar and flowery hops.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Fruity and slight citric aroma. Flavour is quite sweet fruity. Ends mellow fruity, malty with a decent note of yeasty spiced notes.

Bottle. Light unclear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, flowers, lemon shell, moderate to heavy yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (080108)

Bottle. Semi-malty aroma. Muddy, dark yellow colour. Astringent, malty and moldy flavour with a little acidity. Bitterness is a little too harsh for me. Malty/sweet aftertaste.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized foamy head. Weak barnyardish caramellish aroma, which is a bit weird. Flavour is sweet malty with wheaty hints. Pleasant flavour.
