color is a bright medium golden with an adequate white foamy head. aroma is quite similar to that of a Wit. lots of spice, and even a quality reminiscent of poop..and i dont mean that in a bad way, more like a complex poop. flavor is very similar to the aroma with a metallic finish.

A wonderful ale that pours a deep brown with a wonderful white creamy head. Flavors of a great belgian brew with decent bitterness.

Draught at the brewpub.
Pours a orange amber colour with small white head and fresh fruity nose. The aroma is malty, fruity and slight yeasty with notes of alcohol and spices. Some sediment at the bottom. Very good beer for the beginning of my Amsterdam beer hunt.

Bottle. Cloudy orange and explosive out of the bottle. Aromas are sweet, brown sugar with caramel, ripe pear and yeast. Flavours are sweet malts with herbal and spicy notes. Some underlying caramel with warming alcohol and a dry finish.

At the brewery. Honey-caramel in colour with suspended floaties. Aroma is sweet, malty, with some caramel. Flavour was very sweet, quite malty, very full bodied, high carbonation. Finish is medium long spicy bitterness. The brewery is way too smokey to be able to enjoy their beers which is a real shame.

Frothy lush head over a body full of floaties, cloudiness. Smells spicy and full or coriander and mild citrus. The flavor isn't bad, but it's not quite up to BSA, in my opinion. There's something missing, but yet the flavor is definetly not thin. Banana esters and a little too bitter in the finish.

Some phenols in nose, some...orange cream muffin, some...cranberry jelly, some...sourdough bread. Overall abit heavy on the alcohol taste and the flavors are not integrated. Not entirely unlike a syrup and alcohol-laced tea eaten with neutral-flavored crackers. Am setting a few of these by to age. I sense some potential.
