COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An amber, craft beer with generous amounts of hops and alcohol. This copper-gold beer is a real heavyweight and a must for beer lovers. The liberal quantities of malt and bitter hops create a complex, full flavour. It starts as slightly sweet with malty aromas of chocolate, fruit and grain, while the bitter hops stand out nicely in the aftertaste. A feast for the connoisseur!

A woody taste dominates, with an alcoholic finish. OK but not one that I would purchase a second time.

On tap at the taphouse. Yellow to ornage color, very clear, white head. Aromas of caramel, malts, sugar. Exactly the same, not soi complex. Sweet aftertaste, long and sticky. Medium body with low carbonation. Nice!

Fresh herbs and clove aroma. Heavy flavours, mainly herbs and bitter. some roasted malts and the aftertaste starts alcoholic on the uvula, after that a spyce aftertaste and clove/cinamon. Okay, but really not my favorite t IJ beer.

Cloudy amber with pillows tan head. aroma mostly obscured by the head. Thick and sweet with bitter finish. Strong finish of carbonation. I used to live down the block from these guys, so drinking a Columbus always brings back good memories.

Thick like syrup. Not the easiest beer in Amsterdam to drink as its quite creamy and a little bit sour.
