Our bokbier that rings in the autumn every year. Dark and full-bodied, but not as sweet as you would expect. The fine, light brown head holds for a long time while the dark, black-brown beer releases the aromas of the roasted malt: brown sugar, caramel and beautiful, dark fruit. The aftertaste is pleasantly dry.

Aroma is malty with lots of chocolate. Also some syrupy tones and raisins. Flavour has chocolate, non-disturbing alcohol and raisins. Also some syrupy tones and hints of bready malt. Actually quite nice, I like the strong chocolate tones here.

De color marrón casi negro y una buena capa de espuma marrón que no desaparece en ningún momento. Suave aroma a malta torrefacta. Cuerpo medio y buena carbonatación. En boca maltosa y dulce, con algo de torrefacto y final seco.

Dark brown, very hazy with a full, creamy head. Smell: nutty, toasty, a bit of plums, yeasty and a little note of smokiness in the background. Tastes like honey, with a mild sweetness and a medium bitterness at the end.

Bock beer with an unusual yeasty body, typical for ’t IJ. Nice taste of sweet malt, fruits and herbs. Tasty beer.

Aroma is sweet and malty. Flavour is also quite sweet but not in a sickly, sugary way. There’s also a creamy, nutty edge to it.

33cl bottle @ home. Nearly black color, strong beige head. Smells caramel, biscuit, belgian ale-ish, flovor is coffee, dark chocolate, dark fruit notes, roasty. Taste light sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, light coffee-ish bitter-sweet finish. Dessert kind, delicious beer, not very strong aroma and flavor but a very well balanced one. Less sweetness than a usual bock beer which makes it better.

Medium foamy mokka coloured head, dark black with a slight red hint colour, soft sweet red fruity and some metal smell, medium carbonation, medium peppery bitter, metal taste in the beginning, a coffee like bitter some burned caramel hints, its a shame there’s a metal note in this beer
