Our bokbier that rings in the autumn every year. Dark and full-bodied, but not as sweet as you would expect. The fine, light brown head holds for a long time while the dark, black-brown beer releases the aromas of the roasted malt: brown sugar, caramel and beautiful, dark fruit. The aftertaste is pleasantly dry.

Ruby coloured bock with a light brown head. I tasted caramel, brown sugar, deep dry fruit, touches of chocolate, roasted malts. A quick bite in the taste afterwards. Not very special, but not bad either, sufficient.

Dark ruby pour, with a very small white head with no retention. Smells like bitter caralem and cold wort. Tastes bitter, but a kind of herbal/chemical/metallic bitter that I donít particularly enjoy.

33 cl bottle at home. Pours chestnut brown with big, beige head. Foam dissipates quite fast. Aroma: roasted malts, smoke, red fruits, spices. Taste: medium sweetness with medium bitterness. Notes of roasted malts. Spicy finish. Texture is oily. Carbonation is average

The beer looks very nice. It is just what you want on a rainy autumn day. The beer has a beautiful layer of slightly tinted soft foam, a little bit rough. Most of the foam collapses quickly and a tiny drape of foam remains on top of the beer. The beer has a nice dark orange red color, with a beautiful red color. The beer is nice and clear. The smell is quite mild. I smell some typical hop aromas. There is caramel, syrup, almond and red fruits in the smell. There are nice sweet fruits and a little roasted bitterness. The bouquet is very nose filling, which is very nice. The taste is stronger than the smell. The taste is very very good. There is a tiny bitter roast flavor. This is balanced by a delicious sweet flavor of syrup and brown sugar. The taste has also a smokey aspect, this is very delicious. The beer also has a minimal oaky flavor, delicious. This beer is truly a perfect beer for the autumn.

Delft 29-11-2015 (Mitra) Verassende smaak!

Troebel bruin uiterlijk caramel houtige zoete caramel geur.

Nice dutch fall season bock. Deep brown with a small beige head and low carbonation. It has nice yeast notes and is not too sweet. Flavour could be a bit more pronounced. It has a nice balance in the toasted malt sweetness, yeast and bitter hops. Aftertaste is nicely dry bitter.
