Our bokbier that rings in the autumn every year. Dark and full-bodied, but not as sweet as you would expect. The fine, light brown head holds for a long time while the dark, black-brown beer releases the aromas of the roasted malt: brown sugar, caramel and beautiful, dark fruit. The aftertaste is pleasantly dry.

Nicht Tij-außergewöhnlich, dafür aber ein mehr als solides Bockbier. Der schlank, süßliche Korpus wird von einer tollen Hopfenattacke überrascht. Flasche Stassen

33cl bottle at home. Pours hazy brown amberish colour with a big beige head which slowly recedes to small layer. Aroma of citrus, roasted malt, caramel, nuts. Taste is light sweet, light bitter with a roasted malty finish. Notes of caramel, roasted malts, spices. Texture is watery, medium bodied with low carbonation.

Verrassend zoete bokbier. Volle karamel smaak eraan. Mooie nasmaak, perfect tegen de winterdepressie.

Bottle, courtesy of Benzai for EuroSwap. Sweet malt-forward beer with decent bitterness. Some raisins. Full and well carbonated but not harmonic. Okay.

Pours clear deep amber with medium tan head. Nose is fruity and caramel. Aromas are toasted malts, herbal hops, candi, a alcoholic hint. Average carbonation, medium body. Medium sweet finish, with a slight bitterness in aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ruby coloured bock with a light brown head. I tasted caramel, brown sugar, deep dry fruit, touches of chocolate, roasted malts. A quick bite in the taste afterwards. Not very special, but not bad either, sufficient.

Dark ruby pour, with a very small white head with no retention. Smells like bitter caralem and cold wort. Tastes bitter, but a kind of herbal/chemical/metallic bitter that I don’t particularly enjoy.

The beer looks very nice. It is just what you want on a rainy autumn day. The beer has a beautiful layer of slightly tinted soft foam, a little bit rough. Most of the foam collapses quickly and a tiny drape of foam remains on top of the beer. The beer has a nice dark orange red color, with a beautiful red color. The beer is nice and clear. The smell is quite mild. I smell some typical hop aromas. There is caramel, syrup, almond and red fruits in the smell. There are nice sweet fruits and a little roasted bitterness. The bouquet is very nose filling, which is very nice. The taste is stronger than the smell. The taste is very very good. There is a tiny bitter roast flavor. This is balanced by a delicious sweet flavor of syrup and brown sugar. The taste has also a smokey aspect, this is very delicious. The beer also has a minimal oaky flavor, delicious. This beer is truly a perfect beer for the autumn.
