COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our bokbier that rings in the autumn every year. Dark and full-bodied, but not as sweet as you would expect. The fine, light brown head holds for a long time while the dark, black-brown beer releases the aromas of the roasted malt: brown sugar, caramel and beautiful, dark fruit. The aftertaste is pleasantly dry.

Roasty sweet aroma. Deep amber color with nice off-white head. Moderately sweet with a slight alcohol note, a bit bready and spiced.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Pours clear ruby with a light, white foam head. Sweet bread, moderate alcohol and light toffee character. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Bready malts to finish, light dryness, toasted leaves and sugar. Decent. Pretty sweet, but translated reasonably well to cask.

Bottle at home. Clear deep brown pour, foamy off-white head. Aroma is sugary malts, stophoest, licorice, quite spicy and some roastedness. Flavor is quite sweet at first but followed by a roasty bitter finish. Lively carbonation. Decent body. Nice bock.

Definitely not the icon of the bock beer style but very good bock-like beer. Very drinkable.

The head is robust, the body black. It smells strange. The taste is nutty, fruity, strange, maybe I had a bad barrel, it is also nearly without CO². It was drinkable but very strange taste. ?? 12/8/7/8/-/8
