COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of our flagship beers, slightly different in flavour every year! A splendid, maroon-coloured beer with fine aromas of spiced fruit, orange peel and well-roasted malt to delight the nose. The flavour is a spicy balance of caramel, citrus and slightly bitter hops to restore that warm feeling during the dark days of winter. If stored in a cool, dark place, IJndejaars will keep for years.

Note: Until 2005 called IJndejaars, from 2006 until 2008 called Turbock and in 2009 they started using the old name IJndejaars again.

Opaque brown-reddish beer with a weak head. Smell is malty warmth, with a touch of caramel, coriander, pepper and apples. Bit of leather. Taste is bitter-sour-sweet with a dominating alcoholic warmth. Rotten fruit.

Lekker bier.

33cl bottle @ home from De Molen. Hazy rusty to copper body, small beige creamy mostly lasting excellen lacing head. Nose is caramel, dried fruits, belgian yeast, Aroma is mild roasted malt, tons of caramel and honey, more blegian yeast, light licorice, raisins, alcohol is noticable in my throat. Taste medium sweetness, medium bitterness, light citric sourness. Medium body, sticky and creamy texture, average carbonation, medium lasting honey and slightly roasty finish. Good dessert beer, quite sweet but not disturbing.

Bottle. Amber, hazy. Nice malty, slight sweet nose with ripe fruityness. Fuller body, pretty soft smooth texture. Sweet, but doesnt cloy, finish balanced. Ripe fruits- Im thinking some peaches, apricots, some exotics even. Nice belgian strong ale.

Its hard to pinpoint the style of this beer, the melting pot label of Belgian strong ale is perhaps most suited. Its a malty, yeasty and full bodied beer with lots of spices and nuances. Good.

Bottle, CAJS, shared with Nataa & Srđan - thanks! Murky dark amber body. Light sweetish aroma, rosehip, honey - yeasty. Sweet taste, spicy, light cloves - despite being on the sweet side, I found it was quite nice.
