COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our I.P.A. is a dark-blonde beer with an emphatic, hoppy flavour. We add hops to the beer during the maturing process as well as the brewing to produce delicious aromas of flowers and grapefruit. A beer with a fruity, bitter aftertaste that lingers for a long time.

Pours a hazy orange color with a white head. There’s a really sweet nose to this. Dominated by bread and toasted malt with a light floral hoppiness. Some hints of pine in the background. The flavor has just a bit of hop bitterness. Otherwise, intense malty sweetness of toast and toffee. A weird spice note, perhaps from the yeast strain? A really sweet citrus character, too.

Bottle share at Kenny’s 20K. As ’Brouwerij ’t IJ IPA’, 7%. Naked woman logo. Hazy orange, decent foamy dense off-white head, thick droopy lacing. Aroma is floral, pastry, sweet, plastic. Body is light, tingly carbonation, quite foamy. Taste is biscuity malt, floral, tangy fruits, dry finish. Quite nice.

Have I got the wrong beer? Mine smells unexcitingly "Belgian" and just tastes really wheaty with banana and soapy herb. Not that nice and nothing like the blurb or other reviews. Genuinely think there may have been a mislabelled bottle in this batch. Shame as I was looking forward to this one.

bottle - Pours hazy copper with a two finger white head. It has a citrus hop aroma. The flavor has big hop bitterness with citrus and floral notes. This brew is medium bodied and is definitely in the modern American style of IPAs.

33cl bottle shared at Kenny’s 20K celebrations @Chriso’s, thanks to Chris. It pours a clean golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet fruity with some grass and apricot. Taste is massive harsh bitterness with grapefruit and grass. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, meh

Bottle at MadMitch76 20K tasting. It pours clear amber with a massive white head. The nose is toasted grain, sweet orange, brioche, candied fruits and icing sugar. The taste is bitter orange, toasted grain, earth, brioche, citrus peel, light soap and icing sugar with a dryish finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A touch sweet perhaps, but overall ok.

Lys brun lett tåkete med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter moden frukt og trevirke. Syrlig bitterhet i smak. Lang bitter avslutning.

Amber with small white head. Sweet honey type aroma with some sweet. Quite sweet, honey notes, fruity sourness and strong bitterness bit later. Strong bitter aftertaste.

One of the best IPAs I have ever had. The hop tones are plentyful and linger on in the aftertaste. Enjoyable with every sip.

Golden with cream head. Very aromatic, caramel and sweet citrus hops. Balanced wild honey and caramel sweetness with aromatic and bitter hoppiness. Leaves a bitter hearbaceous aftertaste. Bottle at Anvers in Tilburg, NL.
