Our I.P.A. is a dark-blonde beer with an emphatic, hoppy flavour. We add hops to the beer during the maturing process as well as the brewing to produce delicious aromas of flowers and grapefruit. A beer with a fruity, bitter aftertaste that lingers for a long time.

Bottled from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Very hazy orange-brown colored, lots of tiny yeast particles, off-white thick and lasting head. Hops in aroma (of course), but also caramel notes, malts, some spices, and the t IJ yeast is definitely there. Yeasty flavor, hoppy, caramel malts, developing flavor from initially somewhat sweet towards a more bitter and dry finish. Dry and warming (thatís surprising) finish. The t IJ fingerprint is definitely there, a very original angle on the IPA style.

33cl bottle. Clear light brown pour with medium white head, some lacing. Aromas of citrus, resin and wet leaves. Taste is really dry and bitter and really well balanced. Low carbonation and a bit oily palate. Aftertaste is extremely long an bitter with nice, hoppy and lemony finish. Almost perfect ipa, but maybe a bit boring somehow?

Clear dark blonde to golden color. Beautiful hoppy aroma with grapefruit. Mouthfeel somewhat dry, medium bodied, medium carbonation. Very pleasant long lasting bitter. Grapefruit, some pepper, almond. Fruity bitter aftertaste. Excellent IPA!

[Bottle (330ml) at De Ysbreeker, Amsterdam, May 15] 4th rating of my Paris/Amsterdam trip. Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with an average size lasting frothy white head. Pretty good aroma, pleasantly hoppy along with bready malt and hints of herbs and spices. Flavour is quite fruity and hoppy along with bready malt and long big bitter finish. Medium bodied. A good enjoyable IPA.

A mango-like colored beer with a nice stable head. The beer is misty with loads of protein flakes floating around. Aroma is balloon rubber, musty, floral and grassy. Taste: Hay, cardboard, maybe some caramel in the back. Not very citrussy, but defenitly a bitter finish. Medium bodied, average carbo and a bitter finish. Overall not very fresh and exciting.

Bottled - Hazy amber colour with decent off-white head. Aroma is floral and citrussy with some caramel and malty sweetness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation with long dry finish. Nice fruity hop aromas and flavors. A little bit of yeasty sidetaste can be noticed, but I think, this is a well balanced, nice IPA. Good job!

Bottle at home. Clear golden with big white fluffy head. Yeasty up front, grapefruit, lime, Italian herbs, mint, caramel, cookies. Light to medium sweet with medium bitter finish. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Decent IPA, not too bitter or fruity but well balanced.

28-MAY-2015, bottle @home. Hazy pale golden with a huge, heavily lacing off-white head. Aroma is citrus hops and Belgian yeast. Taste the same. Fruity, bitter, medium body, a little below average carbonation. Very nice.

Amber, medium white head. Floral and pine notes on the nose. Balanced bitterness, some caramel. Very Belgian IPA to my taste. Very nice as well.
