COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our I.P.A. is a dark-blonde beer with an emphatic, hoppy flavour. We add hops to the beer during the maturing process as well as the brewing to produce delicious aromas of flowers and grapefruit. A beer with a fruity, bitter aftertaste that lingers for a long time.

Bottled from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Very hazy orange-brown colored, lots of tiny yeast particles, off-white thick and lasting head. Hops in aroma (of course), but also caramel notes, malts, some spices, and the t IJ yeast is definitely there. Yeasty flavor, hoppy, caramel malts, developing flavor from initially somewhat sweet towards a more bitter and dry finish. Dry and warming (thatís surprising) finish. The t IJ fingerprint is definitely there, a very original angle on the IPA style.

Bottle from my Secret Santa. BBD 2016-02-04. Clear golden colour, quickly disappearing head. Raw wort in both aroma and flavour. Otherwise high bitterness and fruity citrusy hops flavour. But the wortiness kills it. Seems heavily underattenuated in flavour, despite being quite thin. Good but nothing too special.

Bottle. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma malty, wort, only a litrov hops. Taste is also more on malty side. Again wort, bitter. Some citrusy tones. Bitter aftertaste.

Poured from a bottle courtesy of my Summer Secret Santa. Aroma is bready with a light cracker malt note. Aroma has a fairly tropical fruit forward character with pineapple and mango. Some light floral spicy notes and a bit of a wood character. Pours a hazy, pale orange with a large, fairly thick, slightly off white head that slowly recedes to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Moderately high lacing and moderate legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with some bread and cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness with a hint of alcohol. Moderate hop notes with tropical fruit and light citrus. Lighter floral and wood notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice IPA. The tropical fruit is working well with the wood and floral spice notes. The light malt character works well.

Orange color with an off-White head with medium duration. Aroma has strong notes of pine and resins with orange peel hints. Flavor with a strong bitterness and some caramelish hints. Good maltiness in the final with decent bitterness and high astringency.

0.33 bottle from Pivoljub, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Clear golden, medium white head, leaving lacing. Strong citrus hoppy aroma, tropical, orange. Bitter kick, citrus, dry bitterness, acidic finish. Medium body, full taste, serious beer. For bitter beer lovers, good in my opinion.

Bottled 330ml. -from Za Popenít Ljubljana. Clear golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, hops and whiff of smoke in the nose. Sweet malty, herbal hoppy, fruity and mild spicy with some pretty odd floral notes in the finish. Not bad but expected maybe more from this one.

Bottle from somewhere in Amterdam. Fantastic label art (had to say it). Nice beer, good hop character, kinda fruity, but nothing wild. Kinda just an average IPA, but it works.

330ml bottle, pours clear light gold, fluffy white head. Belgian farmhouse hearbal yeasty notes are the first thing I get from the aroma, with mild cara malts and floral and citrus hoppy notes. Not a hop bomb by any means but a good balance of flavours. Light bodied, slightly oily texture, finish is long, moderate bitter. Good stuff
