Rating is lower than I would rate the beer overall because of the vile aroma. Otherwise it’s a normal and nice dubbel.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 CanIHave4Beers (2000) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - DEC 4, 2009
Pours a hazy reddish brown with a big head and a light lace. The aroma is of brown sugar nuts plenty of plum and a bit of red wine, and has a considerable mustiness. The flavor is nutty and sweet but well balanced. The beer is spicy and has notes of molasses alcohol raisin licorice and plenty of earthy tones. This is fantastic, all the flavors of a great dubbel with only 6.5% abv, I wish there were more out there like this.
