Bottle - Man...I can’t figure out why the score is so low on this beer--it absolutely blew my doors off. It’s a nice pour, all murky brown and almost opaque. It’s one of those beers you can smell across the room, and I got a lots of flavors in the nose: bourbon, sweet bread, toffee, raisins, and anise. The taste is about the same--slight bourbon, raisins, but fairly dry. Finish is sweet, bready malt. Yum. It’s medium-bodied and smooth--just a remarkable all around beer.

Bottle: Hazy, amber coloured,some floaties visible, gushing, but very stable creamy off-white head; fruity and sourish cellary nose, backed by some sweet malt; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, medium bodied, creamy MF; sourish-malty finish with an increasing bitterness towards the end. Pleasant..........

330ml Bottle - Hazy brown with a foamy beige head. Fruity aroma with spicy malt and hints of marzipan and more spicy elements. Fruity and slightly sweet taste with dried fruit, spices and more hints of marzipan. Very drinkable and I enjoyed this one.

Aroma:malt, appaerance:a bit carbonated,head is shrinking fast. tastes malty, a bit candy sugar, a small bitter in the finish that doesn’t last long.

330 ml bottle. Hazy, dark orange body with an off-White head. Aroma is malt, fruity and spicy. Flavor I sweet malty, rather fruity, a bit sour, yeast and quite funky. Not bad at all but a bit unusually.

Pours a cloudy brown with a bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Slightly sweet aroma of spices. Flavor of lights spices and malts, and brown sugar. A little more sweet and lighter than most dubbels that I’ve had, but pretty good nonetheless.

Murky muddy brown looking body with a forceful but short lived head. Sweet in the taste though fortunately not too heavy, malts as well as light spice and dark fruit. Don’t mind the beers from this brewery.

Bottle at Pieter/Charlotte’s leaving party. Nice head, quite brown, another excellent Dubbel. It’s from a small microbrewer in A’dam. A bit sweet and thinner than most Dubbels.
