Amber color; generous creamy head. Simle aroma: malt, caramel, liquorice; dry. Reasonable Dubbel, enough malt; some caramel and light liquorice; too much oxydized. Thanks Jacob (Lövenlund) for this bottle.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2010 33cl bottle. BB 08/08. Pours hazy amber with a lovely red hew & a small creamy & stable head. Aroma is very yeasty & dusty. Fruity berries, vinous & earhty taste - almost sour. At first I wondered if it was infected but came to the conclusion that it was the perpas.. Overcarbonated. Medium & smooth body. Ends dry! A little disappointed! Rerating Feb. 2010. Even more horrible. Dust, old yeast, rubber and grain. From 3,1 to 2,4

Bottled (BB 07/2006)
Dark nut brown, good creamy off-white head. Aroma is lemony, a bit fruity. Medium-bodied. Some roasted malts underlying. Not sweet, but a bit sticky mouthfeel. Dark dubbel, but not really dark in the taste. Easty to drink, does not show alcohol much.
