3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 lakersfan16 (53) - Anchorage, USA - FEB 10, 2009
Pours a cloudy brown with a bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Slightly sweet aroma of spices. Flavor of lights spices and malts, and brown sugar. A little more sweet and lighter than most dubbels that I’ve had, but pretty good nonetheless.

Dirty brown body, offwhite head. Aromas of chocolate, berry malt. Some sourness. Flavour is just juice, unbalanced and slick. Very poor one in the most unstable beer style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jimthechap (637) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 4, 2011
The lightest coloured dubbel I’ve had in recollection. Deep apricot amber with a rocky white head with tinges of green. Fresh green stonefruit aromas. Greengages, unripe fruit and a distinct old world ale aroma. Full carbonation and an almost fruity candy type flavour at first, then it spreads and becomes more mellow and reminiscent of apple and mango juice. This is a full bodied, tasty brew that while is a little distinct in its category, is a well made, quaffable ale. Ripe for enjoyment, I look forward to my next one from this brewery.
Incidentally, I saw the interview between the late Michael Jackson and the brewery owner. I like the premise that this brewery was founded on and love your work.
