Het allereerste bier dat we gebrouwen hebben in onze nieuwe brouwerij aan het Zeeburgerpad. De No. 1 is een licht blond bier met een frisse bitterheid verkregen uit de Waimea hop. We hebben het getapt bij de opening van onze nieuwe brouwerij, en de reacties waren enthousiast. Dit feestelijk bier belooft veel goeds voor wat er aan het Zeeburgerpad gemaakt gaat worden.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, moderate hoppy, herbs, grass, light yeasty. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, herbs, hoppy, grass, fruity, sharp, light yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20131011]

Fresh, malty and hoppy aroma. Hints of citrus. Cloudy pale and yellow colour, pillowy head. Alot of yeast floating around. Taste and pallate are not that special. Mostly bitter. Medium body, mellow carbonation. Oily texture on finish.

Olyan színe van, mint egy szűretlen grapefruitlének, amit egy vékony, krémes hab fed be. Illata olyan, mint a vattacukornak + virágok, maláta, parfümösség, élesztő és fűszerek. Ízeben is megjelenik ez az érdekes virágosság, élesztő, fűszerek, kis fehérborosság és tetemes mennyiségű gyantás komló. Könnyű teste van és közepesen van ellátva apró méretű buborékokkal. Utóíze picit boros és igen száraz. Érdekes egy sör, az biztos.

Bottle at ’t Arendsnest. Jhazy amber, medium head. Spicy and somewhat herbal nose. Hints of yeast. Nicely balanced, fruity and spicy flavours. Well-made.

Bottled. Hazy golden color, short frothy off-white head, quite some tiny debris floating around. Aroma is very spicy of yeast esters, bit of funk and bubblegum, soft earthy hop, hint of grain. Medium bitter taste, quite dry and sparkling. Soft sourish note, probably from the typical funky IJ yeast. Bit too dry to make it a nice drinker.
