Our bokbier for Easter; not too sweet, thereby producing a fine flavour. The flavour and aromas give a nicely balanced mix of fruit, coriander, yeast and hops. An enjoyable combination in which the bitter element gets an additional boost from the lightly roasted malt. The aftertaste is slightly sparkling, with a long-lasting, fresh, sweet flavour. An excellent beer for celebrating the arrival of spring!

33cl bottle @ home. Hazy orange copper color medium creamy beige head. Aroma floral, honey, citrus, belgian yeast, slightly roasty, licorice notes. Taste medium sweetness, medium bitterness, light umami. Medium to full body, sticky texture, average carbonation, belgian style bitter-sweet finish, bitterness stays longer in the palate. Good, refreshing, smells really good, but still not very exciting, and far not the best from t IJ.

Aroma has lots of soapy citrus. Also some distant belgian yeast notes. Flavour has also soapy citrus, some earthy notes. A basic soapy belgian ale with t IJ house flavour added. Dry and leathery finish. Refreshing.

Aroma of malts, fruits, spices, yeast, coriander. Flavour is fruity and spicy sweetness with some hops and a very slight bitter finish. Very Belgian, very nice.

Hazy orange colour with a slightly off-white head. Aromas a bit too thin, but along with the taste oranges, pineapple, apple and hoppy and malty bitterness are distinguishable. As it warms it gets more sweet (honey). Lively mouthfeel, medium-high carbonated, not too big bodied. Refreshing and balanced but flavourwise not too special.

Opaque copper orange beer with a generous head and little carbonation. Peaches, mandarin , breadiness on the nose, with some bitter alcoholic woodiness which Ive come to associate with biological beer. t Ij pulls it off nicely thou. Good balance of bitter and watery, refreshing. Full-bodied and nicely fizzy with hints of honey, caramel and some alcohol. Quite a nice beer.
