3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer is not a Bohemiam Pilsner. In a quick visit to the brewery I got the bottle and only realized that it is top-ferment after I oppened the bottle. Still is avery good beer with a very grassy hop note, also the fruit notes are characteristic of a good belgian-style yeast. Overall a very good and refreshing beer.

The head is medium. The body is cloudy. It smells like citrus, lemongrassy. The taste is bittergrassy. In the aftertaste it is bitter-citrus the aftertaste is robust. Interesting Pils! 9/8/8/9/-/9

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a nice, two finger white head on top. Grainy, pilsnener aroma. Flavour has a nice hop bitter in the start that companies theentire flavour experiences. The bitterness turns out in a dry, medium bitter finish. Not as refreshing as a regular pilsener, but quite okay.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught @ Brouwerijt´t IJ, Amsterdam. Hazy, pale straw colour, creamy and frothy head. Grainy malt aroma with strong hayish and spicy/herbal hoppiness and spicy yeast. It even has some witbier-like notes. Dry, quite light maltiness. Good hop bite. lingering bitter finish. Maybea bit thin. Bitter and fresh beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled 33cl. It pours a murky pale yellow beer with a huge mountainous white head. This beer has not much in common with a bohemian pilsener. Yeast accented, top fermented with pale malts and nice spicy hops. Melon throughout. Unusual and not true to the style at all- still quite nice. Reminiscent (for my tastes) of a lighter tripel.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Cloudy yellow pour with a small, very firm white head leaving awesome lacing. Huge zest and citrus hoppage on the nose. Lemon curd, grass, peach, hay and banana. Loads of complexity and it all mingles quite well together. Big citrus taste. Loads of lemon zest and orange rind. A touch earthy with some grassy notes and barnyard tones. Spritzy carbonation. Leaves a dry finish, makes you want to keep coming back for more. Very solid

Rated on 01.08.2011.
Pours hazy pale golden colour with large, bubbly head. Aroma of citrus, spices and some sour orange notes. Some tangy and grassy lemon on the flavour, spices and distant buttery notes. Tangy palate with strong carbonation, sour finish. Slightly too tangy.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lightly hazy, yellow body. White, rocky splendid head. Very well balanced aroma of hops, flowers, yeast. Quite nice, lightly bitter, lightly sweet flavour - bit floral. Aroma continues in the flavour, but appeals less, still very pleasant.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
The most furious, enraged beer I have ever seen. Cap exploded off, the beer followed suit resulting in a serve for me and a serve for the kitchen table. So much pent up angst raised a mammoth, rocky plume up and a good inch out the glass to be gobbled off prior to drinking. The body of beer a misted, pastel, sunny straw yellow. Tight and tart underripe fruit on the nose with hints of straw, spent grain, lemon curd, pear drops, pale rock candi and vanilla bean. Interesting. With the very bitter head now bitten off, time to taste. WTF? It is soft, smooth and comfortable in the mouth, the body quite light but rounded. Big, bright peppery and weedy raw hops dominate. Unashamedly bitter with plenty of complimentary tangy, tropical fruit notes. Nice drawn out pineapple and lychee in back too with a vinous swallow aided by some very raw hop favours. A subtle straw-like, toasted malt base gives an affable balance to the lovely hop display. A nice Lager come Kellerbier, wouldn’t go as far as calling it a Pilsner. Very sessionable stuff!!
