COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our pils is a sturdy, hoppy and blossomy blond beer, which is top fermented. Brewed from 100% barley malt. You really should have a couple of these in your fridge. On tap only in our tasting room and Cafe De Balie.

Bottle (33 cl) from the Cracked Kettle. Hazy golden, medium creamy white head. Funky aroma with some notes of citrus. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Bone dry with a firm bitterness and some acidity. It reminds me of Jolly Pumpkin beers, which is clearly not intended (the best before date is yesterday) , but this is very tasty and refreshing indeed. Very odd.

Bottled (thanks Marco!). Hazy yellow color, with huge fluffy head. Wheaty nose. Aroma is wheat and lots of yeast. Flavour is the same with more yeast, wheat, green apples and spicy tones. This is not pilsner. This is more an overdone wheat ale.

Colour and body of a whit beer. Lovely heady perfumey and bready, yeasty aroma, with faint citrous nose. Despite only 5% alcohol, it feels more potent, and taste is a fruity, yeasty and refreshing zesty beer, if a little too bitter on the finish.

330ml bottle. Pours a pale gold with a big foamy bright white head that leaves some decent lacing and sticks for a while. The name of this beer reminds me of Pilsen, but this is a top-fermenter. The smell has a hint of golden raisin and spiciness, perhaps form the hops. I have to give it a lower score though cause it isn’t all that appetizing. The taste is sweet, with a malt presence, I don’t taste much hops besides a slight spicy bitterness int he end but nothing much really. It isn’t something too special, this brewery does better. Lahev: Golden, cloudy, small creamy off-white head; herbal-hoppy nose with a solid fruity-yeasty counterpart; quite dry bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; a blend of lemony-fruity and lemony-hoppy flavours in the dry&lingering bitter- sweet finish. Bottle. Golden hazy, average and mostly lasting head. Moderate malty andlightly sweetish aroma, yeast and light spiciness, average hoppyness. Body is light to average, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, average hoppyness and light spiciness. Finish is average, malty and dyryish, quite hoppy, light spiciness. Not really a pils – anyway well hopped/lightly spiced dryish brew. Nice one.
