Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty moderate hopy aroma. Nice citrus-notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. OPily palate. Realy nice pilsener.

Pale yellow coloured, medium sized white head, mild sourish nose. Very bitter flowery hop taste which is very similar to cumin. Strong bitter finish. I asked for large glass (0.5l), but I got small one(0.25l), which, in the end, was more than enough. The oddish (should I say, the worst) t IJ beer.

Oct 7, 2007 Bottle @ Beer Circus, Croydon. Pours pale yellow, white foamy head. Coriander / spice / fruit in the aroma. Taste is peppery / hoppy / some banana. Finish is bitter, but a decent drink.

Aug 18, 2007 33cl Bottle: Lightly sweet aroma. Smells strongly of banana and some spices. Poured a golden-brown color with a large, rocky, fizzy, barely-off-white head that got smaller but lasted throughout. Very cloud. Small particles. Flavor is medium bitter. Tastes of hops, orange peel, spices, black pepper, coriander, Belgian yeast, earth, and more pepper. Medium body. Dry body. Lively carbonation. Dry, bitter finish. Overall, interesting, but the flavor is a bit too much for me.

Jul 11, 2007 Draught at the t’IJ brewpub. Hazy golden color with creamy head. Sweet and malty aroma with vanilla. Thick, grainy maltiness in the flavor along with rich bitterness and oily herbal hops. Some sourness.

Jul 9, 2007 maybe my bottle is fucked up but its a beautiful cloudy gold with a thick fluffy head - never have i seen a pilsener with such an appealing appearance. the aroma is complex, with hints of citrus and fruit. the taste is incredibly complex for a pilsner as well - highly recommended.
