Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 13, 2004 An orange beer with a beutiful dense white head. The aroma is of grass and yeast. The flavor is of yeast and a dry coriander finish. This beer tastes more like an ale than a pilsener - this mystifies me. For an ale it is good - but for a pilsener it is bad. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 8, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy, golden beer with a creamy, white head that leaves some pretty laces in my glass. Vaguely hoppy nose. Light-bodied but dry and well hopped with a short, dry hoppy finish. 291005 omhper (11027), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 19, 2002 Bottled. Golden colour, very hazy. Lively with creamy head. Lightly flowery, citrusy aroma. Dry and rather light bodied, with some yeasty witbier character and an aromatic finish with moderate bitterness. yespr (8539), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 3, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a huge white head. Earthy and spiced yeasty phenolic aroma. Brett-ish and dry flavoured with a mild citric note, dry though and light wheat-like with a nice hoppy note. Dry and yeasty phenolic finish. Oakes (7047), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Dec 10, 2000 Very good. Lots of hoppy dryness, and a citrus accent.
