Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 9, 2004 An orange beer with a white disappearing head. The aroma is sweet with notes of coriander - a nice aroma for a wit. The flavor is dominated by wheat but also has notes of coriander and lemon before a dry end sets in. The body is thin and the flavor is boring. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Nov 21, 2002 Bottled. Orange coloured andvery cloudy. Aroma of orange and curacao. very yeasty and fruity, with thick vinus mouthfeel. Rather sweet. Bitter finish. Very interesting and flavourful wit, but refreshing it is not. Papsoe (10359), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 30, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a tall, creamy and rather stable head. Fruity and slightly sour nose. Lots of fruit in the flavour - mandarin? No bitterness, but a weak sourish finish. This may not really look like a Belgian Witbier, and it’s also too strong - but flavourwise it’s moving in that direction. 280705 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 22, 2004 Cloudy light tan colour.
