Bottle. Cloudy dark yellow with a small white head - it really looks the part, quite nice. Sweet citrus aroma, an interesting combination. Light mouthfeel, yet a little syrupy as well. Interesting citrus wheat taste, not typical for sure, hard to place the spices in here as well. A little watery, lightly hopped. Pretty nice, thanks R.

The pour reveals a hazy golden color with a medium creamy white head. Solid aroma of citrus, bread and doughy yeast. Good flavor of bread, yeast, citrus, bananas and spices. The body is light and creamy while the carbonation is gentle. A very good witbier.

Beautiful yellow gold with a bright white head. Bready vanilla nose with hints of citrus. Light mouthfeel with an intial sweetness that fades fast. Citrus, light malt, vanilla, and spices all dance in the mouth with a creamy delight! Great little beer!

Aroma is sour/tart with lots of yeast and citrus notes and a hint of lemongrass. The body is a cloudy yellow/gold and atop sits a lasting two fingers thick white head. Fore is yeasty, soft with faint hints of spice, apple white bread and lemongrass. Fairly decent drinking brew, but it get s alittle herbal tasting as it warms.

Another impressive brew from the Amsterdam local. Very, very similar to the V’lo in terms of bouque although less so to taste. Lots of herbs and nettles characterise this beer although the hop drive from the V’lo is lacking. Very clean, well made and full of interest. (e3.70 @ Cafe Belique)

[Sampled in 2005.] Interessting brew from Amsterdam. A topclass wit better than Hoegaarden. More complex and the wheat is somewhat refreshing. Maybe it’s lemon. Used it for beersamplings!

Bottle from paisley beer fest. Aroma is typically belgiun wit, the soft wheat and caramel, orange peel and a lemon tartness is clear. The taste is similar, very good carbonation and very drinkable indeed.

On tap at The Rover, Gothenburg. Straw, unclear with white head. Aroma and flavour is banana, citrus and coriander. Fruity. Feels a little thin in the mouth. Nice balanced aftertaste. (051008)
