Bottle from god knows where. Salty malty nose. Lovely amber colour with a very well behaved off white head. Tangy malty flavour. Fairly one dimensional but decent enough. Slightly milky. Alcohol is hidden well apart from a slight spirit like burn at the back of the throat in the finish. Not bad. shp555 (1681), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2007 Hazy orange-foxy beer with a good yellow-beige head. Very perfumed nose, even raspberry. Yeasty, fusel alcohols betraying themselves. Again very perfumed taste, a hint at tartness, and a lot of esters. Fruity, like strawberry flavouring, but a tad artificial. Well bodied, slick, oily, alcohol. Artificial strawberry flavour remaining in the aftertaste. A bit perfumey, and it is not a beer that one would drink at more than one an evening. Would be hard to swallow fast, even discarding the ABV. henrikb (1303), Aarhus, Denmark
