Dubbed a barleywine style by the brewery, but with added complexity and a strong Belgian twist. A powerful, dark beer.

Head goes quickly. Dark copper no sediment. Smell is bananas and metal. Banana malt chocolate that expands and tingles as far the effervesense. In the middle of the palate the bitterness hits. Ends on a slightly bitter note TIJ does a great of making all of it’s offerings very unique from each other.

pours a depp brown with hints of orange, and a decent tan head. aroma is deep and pruny with obvious alchol and yeast. good carbonation. Tatses of dark fruit, plums and apricots with a bit of a cholocately carmelness. a very noticable alcohol warming finish. The first sip seemed a bit watery, but it coats the mounth on finsh. This is a real unique, full beer

11.2 oz bottle. Pours a murkey brown with a large light brown head. This one loses a point on appearance due to the excessively chunky floaties in there even though it looked like I did a good job decanting. I don’t mind cloudy, but these are a little distracting. Aroma is deep with plum, dates, yeast, alcohol, and a little of that funk that’s typical of darker belgian styles. Mouthfeel is a little carbonated at first but quickly transitions into a creamy mouth-coating treat. Flavor is very complex, a lot going on in this one. Plums, yeast, and malt. Finish reminds me of caramels with a warming alcohol. Overall I liked this one very much. Doesn’t seem to fit either style mentioned very well, very unique.

Garnet brown (pretty hue). Ok head. Caramel and toffee. Molasses cookies. Overripe fruit. Not as good as some of their other beers because of a bit of unpleasant sharpness in the aroma.

Habersham Beverage Warehouse, Savannah, Ga - 330 ml bottle. Pours a dark ruby red with a frothy, creamy mocha colored head. Clean, fruity aroma, some nectarines, citrus and brief floral notes with a back end of alcohol. Very full flavored, hints of chocolate, bubble gum, peaches, dates, and a touch of licorice and some prunes. Excellent flavor. Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
