A barley wine brewed in the English style. Struis is a full-bodied beer with a deep, dark colour and a soft, long-lasting head. The aroma is dark and sweet, with clear tones of chocolate and dried fruit. The aftertaste is dry and long-lasting, and leaves you yearning for more. A delicious accompaniment to food and ideal with skeapsrond cheese. Struis is only available as a bottled beer.

Butelka. Termin ważności 10.2014 - wypite 02.2015. Mocno nagazowane, wyleciało podczas otwarcia. Barwa ciemny bursztyn.

My first barley wine. Dark, thick on the palate, feels like you could drink it with a fork. Very malty, sweet, but balanced with bitterness. This is nice., would like to pair it with a moist, bitter chocolate cake or a beef stew.

Nice darkroom Brown colour and an off-white head. Aroma of coffee and rasins. Pretty sweet. Rasins, cherries and yeasty flavours. Not really my thing.

Mahogany to deep ruby colored clear beer with little blonde head. Turns hazy with the yeast. Aroma is sour with apple and sweet with dark fruits and syrup. Flavor has dark fruits, burned sugar, yeast and slight sourness. Palate is quite thick with quite heavy carbonation. Finish has medium bitterness. Aftertaste is slightly sour and toffeey sweet with vanilla and licorice. Tastes a bit like sahti. Not sure if I like it.

ACHTUNG!
