Botella de 330ml. Copa Globo. Snifter glass. Brown color, opaque appearance. Yellowish froth & close crown that slowly dissipates despite of its ABV. Caramel & toasted malt, raisin & grape aromas as well as chocolate & herbal hints on the back. The upfront shows caramel & chocolate flavors, brown sugar hues, heat & kind bitterness. Full body. Moderate carbonation. Dense & silky palate. Well balanced caramel & chocolate malts by subtle but evident bitterness. Long sweet finish rounded by chocolate & fruits on the aftertaste. So drink it paused then feel the heat!!

Dark brown/deep copper, clear, persistent tan head. Aroma of toffee, dark ripe fruits, raisins, an earthy damp cave character. Flavor is similar with cocoa, more dried fruit, more earthy notes of damp, moldy stone. Complex and interesting.

Dark ruby colour, nice beige head. Aroma of wood, basement, some dark fruits. Taste is light sweet, slightly bitter. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not my cup of tea, I like different barley wines. But its interesting.

Bottle. Brown, murky with minimal but permanent head. Low aroma of dried plum and apricot, some caramel. Taste is medium sweet with no bitter contrary. Flavor of chocolate, apricot, some bread. Texture is too thin, i expected something oily, it is only thick. In the beggining i was dissapointed, but with the time aromas have opened to me. Still, expected something harder, with more complex taste and oily texture.

Bottle tasted on 30/06/2014. Dark amber/brown colour with off-white head. Aroma is intense fruit, yeasty and intense. Taste is well balanced with coffee, medium sweet and bread. High alcohol is well integrated in the flavour of the beer. Next one please!

Murky, dark amber. Thick, offwhite head. Deep, fruity and yeasty aroma. Creamy mouthfeel, not too sweet. Yeasty flavour, soft mouthfeel. Rather elegant.
