after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA Mar 24, 2008 Bright medium amber caramel with slim gray rim. Big funky cherry on the nose--lots of soft sweet sour notes dancing around alongside that. Rich medium body with lively carb. Gorgeous cherry, red wine vinegar, and tangy citrus mid-palate. Mild, lightly minerally finish. Bullit (1300), Glasgow, Scotland Mar 4, 2008 Cloudy brown colour, tan head. Aroma had caramel and dark fruits. Flavour is of dried fruits, malts and some caramel. Very nice! dkachur (2319), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Feb 12, 2008 Bottle courtesy of bierkoning. Thanks! Pours very cloudy, muddy, orange-ish, with a small fizzy head that doesn’t last. Aroma of grapes and wheat. Odd taste. Don’t really know what to make of it. Syrupy mouthfeel. Offputting at first, but it grows on you. M0RHI (1067), Luxembourg, Luxembourg Feb 10, 2008 Bottle, brewery. Cloudy dark chestnut, thin offwhite head. Strong alcoholic nose, wheaty, some lemon hop. Mouth is warm wheat with strong alcohol, some cherry glace tones and some other dark fruits. Finishes long and warm, spirit burn present. Rather good. stouby (1932), Holbaek, Denmark Feb 3, 2008 Bottle art home.
Hazy, brown with a light brown head, beautiful lacings Aroma heavy malty (caramel, chocolate, dark fruits). Flavor moderate/heavy sweet. Light body despite the strength. rudolf (1734), Buffalo, New York, USA Jan 11, 2008 Thanks so much to SoLan for sharing this. Muddy brown, giant tan head. Nose is cherry pie brett, brighter fruits, some caramel. Flavor is cherry pie brett, yeast, quite tart. Caramel/cocoa hides in there, some tea. More bitterness than the other T Ij beers but also more fruit. Pastor (509), Maine, USA Jan 5, 2008 11.2 oz bottle poured into a Duvel tulip produced a good one finger white head on top of a deep reddish brown liquid with the tiniest of little partials floating around the nose on this one is hard to describe musty, fruit, earthy, and yes something I can’t describe. Medium slick mouth feel with an oily finish .Flavors on this beer is incredibly complex as well, dark fruits, spices and some funk? Truly a unique beer enough so I have to try another one to nail the description down
