3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 kerolasa (353) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 18, 2010
Looks unfiltered, murky and brown. Good head, and seems to last some time. Aroma is a little bit sweet, but mostly sharp and alcoholic. I would bet you could find soil from somewhere this planet that has similar aroma, but not from Manhattan, more likely country side. Weird, but nice aroma sensation which does last for some minutes. Texture is heavier than stock lager, but not stout like. Not huge surprice on palate side.
p.s. This bottle is from Bierkoning (http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/state/city/de-b 25 years celebration stock.

Pours a cloudy brown color with a medium, offwhite head. Aroma of sourness, brett, fruits and yeast. The flavor is slightly wild, with some sourness, fruits and yeast. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. Good stuff.

Bottle conditioned, 330ml at Cafe Belgique, Amsterdam. Clouded amber with white head. A goodly amount of hoppy dry bittering notes, just what I like and also a taste of fleshy avocado? that what was in my notes anyway. Great tasting beer but the look is not so great.

330ml bottle. Murky orange in colour with a nice creamy tan foam crown that is rich and thick. Spicy raisin aroma that is both sweet and sour and very inviting, Good strong body with a nice warming alocohol kick that comes through and sits well in the mouth.
