COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

Hazy yellow, with the spicy phenolics of achouffe in aroma and taste. Sweet with lemony citrus into the finish. €2.8

Very unclear hazy yellow/orange color. Smell is ok, taste is fair but ’overruled’ by too much carbonation.

bottle from 2006. Spicy musty aroma, yeasty with cinnamon and coriander with very sweet malts and a mild funk. Pours slightly hazy orange with a thick white head. Slightly tart upfront with a sweet bread-like malts flavor, very floral with hints of mint and herbs mild earthy funk with hints of candi sugar towards the end. Highly carbonated a crisp bright finish.

Hazy light orange copper colour, creamy white head. Aroma is sweetish, quite malty and hoppy with notes of grapefruit, lemon and yeast. Flavour is rather sweet, nice hoppy and malt bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation. (draught -taster- @ the brewery)

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2011 On tap at Brouwerij ’t Ij, Amsterdam on 3 April 2011. Mid gold colour. Slightly hazy. Sweetish initial impression with some appley fruit. Quite rich mouthfeel with a slightly tart edge. Ended up a touch sticky though. Pleasant enough.

Bottled, TNX Marco for the box! Hazy yellow color, thick white head, lively carbonation. Very yeasty nose. Aroma is citric, yeasty. Finishes the same. Very nice complex tones mixed in this tripel. Could even be Belgian ! :)

Great soft white head on cloady golden liquid. A smell that seeps into the room. A very sweet triple I think which is easy to drink because of it’s creaminess. Bottle at Menno Boorsma, new label.
