3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 330 ml at home, into a tulip, ABV 8%
Muddy and hazy orange amber, head is white and a bit taller than one finger, soapy, with good retention though, leaving light lacing after it.
Aroma has lots of nuts and grains, sugar and honey, light floral hops.
Taste is much better than the aroma, sweet but good nevertheless. The grains are still there but it has fruity notes too, along of course with the sugars.
Medium body, soft carbonation, mildly dry palate.
Overall not bad at all, drinks good.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home, bought at the Bedford Beer Festival last year. Dark yellow and cloudy. Smells of banana, yeast rolls, sweet spices. Sweet on the tongue and throughout the taste profile. Some slight bitter notes in the finish. The full carbonation gives it a pleasant mouthfeel. A gorgeous tipple if not among the best Tripels.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
At the brewery from the tap: Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma is yeasty, fruity, but somehow not characteristic of the tripel style... Taste is actually a good bit hoppy. The beer is a wee bit sweet. It leaves a lingering aftertaste. Quite dry. Not bad at all.
