COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

amber, almost no head... sour aroma, apple, cat pee... flavour has some fruit again, but it has a kind of sourness (like most of the ij beers) that just doesn’t do it for me...

Funky pinapple aroma. Pine-hop sweet triple. Not bad, i love the funky aroma/flavors.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy orange with a medium white head. The aroma is brewmash, caramel, light fruit and light spices. The flavour is fruit, malt, caramel and some spices. Pretty one dimensional.

quite a sour smell and taste. Tastes a bit like sour apples. Has just the right amount of carbonation. A very tasty beer

Bottle in Amsterdam. Hazy orange with a small beige head. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, coriander, cinnamon, orange and cloves). Flavor moderate to heavy sweet and bitter, some warmth from the alcohol. Almost full body. Another fine beer from ’t IJ.

Great head. Light brown / dark yellow color. Smell is mostly hoppy. Nice sweet aroma that reminded nuts. The aroma develops to earth and something light like melon. Weird sensation.
