COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

Bottled: Clear light amber coloured. Huge white frothy head. Yeast, malt, spices and slight notes of cocoa in the nose. Sweet, yeasty and cocoa flavour. Notes of hops. Very smooth and pleasant. Has a faint bitterness in the end. Good dry lasting on the palate. Very good beer.

Bottle... Hazy golden ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. Yeasty aroma with lots of bread dough, Red Delicious apple and just a hint of banana. The flavor is lightly Flemish with sweet plum. Not overly spiced. Medium-bodied and very creamy with pillow-soft carbonation. Mid-length, rich, doughy finish. Fairly dry. Props to Matta for sharing his bottle. Great brew!

Bottle. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Heavy hoppy and yeasty aroma. Not great but powerfull flavor with heavy mango notes. Long finish. Creamy palate. Not my favorite.

(bottle) Golden colour with a big foamy white head. Stromg citrus (oranges) aroma with floral hops, yeasts and hay. Creamy texture, medium body, bittersweet flavour. Light sweet malty taste with honey, oranges and a peppery spicy, still fruity and light bitter finish. Very interesting and rather uncommon “Tripel”. Well-quaffable and moreish.

Bottled, 330ml at Cafe D’Engel, Delft. Cloudy orange amber with white head. There seema a bit of a theme to t Ij beers, some spiciness with orange peel flavour and a yeasty wheaty note. Enjoyed in the sunny square though.

Bottle at ‘t Arendsnest. Hazy dirty gold color with a small white head. Smells like a tripel with a touch of citrus. Very smooth. Very creamy. Very good mouthfeel. Flavor is lightly bitter, with a citrus peel hint, over pale malt. Finishes clean and bitter. Nice ongoing flavor of fruity and/or herbal hop.

A Mes rate: Nothing at all that I can see or taste to make a fuss about really. A very standard tripel. Seems a little over rated on here if you ask me.
