3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ernest (5113) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 20, 2001
UPDATED: AUG 30, 2005 Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is hazy light amber, bottle conditioned.
Aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread, cookie), moderately hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of banana, baked apples, cotton candy.
Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium to full body, velvety/creamy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
For some reason I can’t really get full excited about this one. It’s nice, all the components are there, but it’s just not quite a 4+ beer. Close, though. Could be slightly more bitter.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Hildigöltur (5107) - København, DENMARK - JUL 9, 2004
Orange coloured. Fruity and yeasty aroma. The flavour is also fruity and yeasty with a sourish touch in the finish.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dickinsonbeer (5077) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 13, 2010
Bottle. Pours a hazy light copper golden with a frothy fizzy head. Aroma is lightly sweet with lots of strange fruitiness- peach, tropical notes light pineapple, yeasty doughy character and light bready pils malt and grass. Flavor is herbal and spicy with light grassy hints, tropical notes, more peach, and lemon citrus with doughy somewhat dirty yeasty notes. Finsih is a bit doughy as well, but it finishes a touch sweet. Still mostly easy to drink. Ok.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2003 Aroma of sweet citrus, grapefruit. Orange color, white head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter, hoppy, fruity. Long lasting fruity finish and a little dry.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 JPDIPSO (4957) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 13, 2002
Light Amber. A lot of spices - cloves, ginger, cinnamon along with citrus flovor present in most t IJ brews. My favorite so far from this brewer.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BBB63 (4939) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - APR 24, 2004
Cloudy coppery hue with some floaties that produced a large frothy head and very nice lacing. The aroma has a sour fruit, dusty yeast, biscuit malts, vanilla and cinnamon. The taste starts yeasty with a sweet and flowery background. Displays a touch of acidic and mildly bitter undertones. Woody and slightly spices towards the finish. Alcohol is well hidden. The mouthfeel is lively and crisp, a bit watery however. It’s an okay beer, but nothing to go out of your way to buy.
